About The Lens Project

The Lens Project (TLP) is a small photography outfit set in the sunny island of Singapore.

Sara Aman is the photographer as well as the woman who takes care of basically anything and everything. Even website and social media updates, which she dislikes. Life is fair most times though.

Operational since 2010, TLP does commercial, editorial and passion projects mainly in the areas of Food, Products and Lifestyle photography.

We get very silly over anything delightful and butterflies-in-the-gut inducing.

We only work with passionate people and companies and those who loves attention to the littlest details even though it can be a huge pain in the butt.

We love quiet conversations, ideas storming with coffee and a cake.

If you like what we do and have an enticing project in mind, come holler at us! We get hungry for human conversations sometimes.

“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.”
— Don McCullin

Main Photographer
'Grew up' in a commercial photography studio for 9 years. Started The Lens Project late 2009. I'm still old school. Love hoarding. Stationeries, notebooks, food magazines, books just to name a few. I wander a lot. Mentally. And physically, my feet usually brings me to West Coast Park. Well, that's the nearest place to me right now that I can actually rest my mind. I have an affinity for cats and alternative medicine. I'm an introvert and I love good conversations. I can be a little intense for all things that I'm passionate for. And that includes photography.
